KAZAK KIDS

Three junior cyclists from Edmonton, Evan Burtnik, Anna Talman, and Stefan Ritter, have been selected to represent Canada at the 2015 UCI World Junior Track Cycling Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan this summer. These riders make up 1/3 of the Canadian team, and not only did they need to be among the best in Canada, but they also had to beat a time standard to show that they would be competitive with the very best in the world.

This opportunity to represent Canada against the best in the world is 100% self-funded by the riders.

A fundraiser event has been organised for Saturday, June 20th, 2015, at the Argyll Velodrome, during the Lino Bovo (a founding member of the EMCC in 1986) Track Meet. There will be a BBQ starting at 11:30 am, a Silent Auction starting at 5:00 pm, and interesting racing all afternoon and evening.
