That Was The Penticton Week 2015

A total of 31 EMCC members signed on in Penticton this year, one more than last year, so this is obviously still a very popular event. The club donated an EMCC jersey to be displayed in the Tiki Shores’ new bike room. It may have been a bit cool in the mornings, but it didn’t rain on us so all the rides went ahead as planned. The evening out at the Bad Tattoo brewery and restaurant, organised by new local resident Peter Maser, was a highlight of the week.

The following week Velocity CC were in Penticton, and Rod Tiedemann took a video of the descent down Green Mountain from Apex Corner back into Penticton – 20 km in 24 minutes. Note that all the riders appearing in the video are also EMCC members, and none of them were harmed in the making of the video.
